Too many tabs

Too many tabs open?
Close them without losing anything.

Most people keep tabs open because closing one feels like losing it. TabHabit makes closing safe, so the pile can finally shrink.

Review the tabs you forgot

Review lists every tab you haven’t looked at in a week or more, oldest first. Close or keep each one; a full review takes a couple of minutes. It’s a quiet count in the panel, never a nag.

Finish what you’re done with

Group tabs into a workspace and press Finish when the job is over. The tabs close and the workspace waits under Finished, ready to reopen with its whole tree.

Put things away for later

Park a workspace to close its tabs and keep them as a list you can resume in one click, on this computer or, with Pro sync, on your other browsers.

Nothing is lost on a restart

Your tree and workspaces come back after the browser restarts, matched by address and order, and local backups are saved every few minutes and after any big change.

Sorted before it piles up

Turn on habits and new tabs go to the right group as you open them, so research, shopping and work never end up in one long strip again.

Questions

Will closing a tab lose it?

No. Closed tabs are kept under Recently closed and found by search, finished workspaces are kept for 30 days on the free plan (forever with Pro), and reopening a closed tab puts it back where it was.

Does it slow the browser down?

TabHabit only keeps a list of your tabs; it doesn’t load pages. Parked workspaces close their tabs, which frees memory.

Do I need an account?

No. TabHabit works without signing up, and everything stays in your browser.
